🎯 About The Role

As a Senior iOS Developer, you will play a key role in architecting, developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-grade OTT and streaming applications for Apple ecosystems.

You will work closely with product teams, backend engineers, QA, UI/UX designers, and business stakeholders to deliver premium streaming experiences with excellent playback quality, responsiveness, scalability, and reliability.

This role requires strong expertise in native iOS development, media playback frameworks, concurrency handling, memory optimization, modular architecture, and production-grade application engineering.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

✔ Design, develop, and maintain production-grade iOS applications using native Apple frameworks
✔ Build responsive, scalable, and modern user interfaces using UIKit and/or SwiftUI
✔ Develop and optimize high-performance video playback experiences using AVFoundation and native media frameworks
✔ Implement authentication, entitlement management, subscription workflows, and user profile systems
✔ Integrate backend APIs for playback metadata, catalogs, recommendations, and progress tracking
✔ Ensure seamless playback performance, smooth navigation, and optimized memory usage
✔ Debug application crashes, memory leaks, ANRs, and performance bottlenecks across supported iOS versions
✔ Write clean, reusable, modular, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices
✔ Participate in peer code reviews and technical discussions
✔ Collaborate with backend, product, QA, and design teams to deliver high-quality streaming experiences
✔ Improve app reliability, stability, responsiveness, and scalability for production environments
✔ Optimize app startup time, rendering performance, and playback buffering efficiency
✔ Ensure compliance with Apple platform standards and App Store deployment guidelines

📱 Required Experience & Expertise
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

✅ 6+ years of professional iOS development experience
✅ Strong expertise in Swift, UIKit, SwiftUI, and Xcode
✅ Deep understanding of iOS application lifecycle, threading, concurrency, and memory management
✅ Hands-on experience with AVFoundation, background playback, and DRM concepts
✅ Proven experience building OTT, media streaming, or video-on-demand applications
✅ Strong understanding of scalable and modular mobile application architecture patterns
✅ Experience integrating RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and local data persistence
✅ Strong debugging and performance optimization capabilities
✅ Experience maintaining production-scale applications across multiple iOS versions

➕ Experience building and maintaining tvOS applications
